No âmbito da 3ª Bienal de Joalharia Contemporânea de Lisboa damos continuidade ao encontro e exposição de escolas, que à semelhança das anteriores, acontece nas instalações de Xabregas do Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual. O desafio foi lançado a 6 escolas internacionais com distintas abordagens à joalharia contemporânea. Foi proposto aos alunos que trabalhassem livremente sob o a tema da Bienal “Coexistências”, possibilitando a criação de diálogos inéditos entre os jovens participantes.
A seleção dos trabalhos será apresentada em estreia no dia 25 de setembro, data do encontro no Ar.Co entre os alunos e professores destas instituições. Numa perspetiva global, a mostra documentará o ecletismo e originalidade que compõem a disciplina da Joalharia Contemporânea.

Within the framework of the 3rd Lisbon Contemporary Jewellery Biennial, we continue the schools’ exhibition and gathering, which, as in previous editions, takes place at Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, in Xabregas. The challenge was presented to six international schools with distinct approaches to contemporary jewellery. Students were invited to work freely under the Biennial’s theme, “Coexistences,” enabling the creation of new dialogues among the young participants.
The selected works will be premiered on September 25, the date of the meeting at Ar.Co between students and teachers from these institutions. From a global perspective, the exhibition will document the eclecticism and originality that define the field of Contemporary Jewellery.
